For 2023, all-electric vehicles are coming into their own, with more choices and options than ever before. One of the most exciting all-electric vehicles is the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV. For 2023, the Bolt EV has many compelling features that have put it on a number of year’s best list for EVs. But the Bolt isn’t the only exciting EV for you to consider. Rated #1 among all-electric cars for 2023 by Edmunds, this five-seat, roomy all-electric vehicle has an excellent starting price at under $30,000. The Bolt EV Hatchback is roomy inside, and has a good range of 259 miles per charge.

2023 Bolt EV has approximately 131 MPGe in city driving and 109 MPGe on the highway. The 2023 Bolt EV comes in two trim levels, including 1LT and 2LT. Bolt EV’s electric motor puts out 200 horsepower and has a 7.5 hour Level 2 charge time and a 100-mile/30 minute DC Fast Charging time.

Bolt EV’s small exterior size combined with EV acceleration make it fun to drive. At the same time, the small car has a lot of interior cargo room: 57 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down. Bolt EV has always been an appealing all-electric vehicle but Chevrolet’s improvements between 2022 and 2023, including a new lower price and additional amenities, make it one of the most exciting EVs of the year.

Edmunds.com calls the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV, the “iPhone Max version of the Bolt.” The all-electric SUV provides you with more room and amenities when compared to the Bolt. Similar to Bolt EV, the Bolt EUV SUV has a new lower price for the 2023 model year.

Bolt’s name “EUV,” stands for Electric Utility Vehicle. It is a small crossover SUV which is based on the Bolt EV hatchback. Bolt EUV gets 125 MPGe in city driving and 104 MPGe on the highway. It seats five and has an excellent driving range of 247 miles per charge.

Like Bolt EV, Bolt EUV comes with Chevrolet’s 8 year/100,000 mile Hybrid/EV warranty. Its electric motor puts out 200 horsepower and has a 7.5 hour Level 2 charge time and a 95-mile/30 minute DC Fast Charging time.

Chevrolet’s 2024 Blazer electric vehicle is built on General Motors’ Ultium EV platform. Available in Summer 2023, the Blazer EV has several trim levels, including an upscale 2LT trim with about 293 miles of range per charge. The sport-level RS Blazer EV is expected to have an excellent 320 mile range.

Blazer performance and engineering is matched by many driver assistance and safety features, as well as large instrument displays and a huge 17.7 inch infotainment screen.

Chevrolet’s 2024 Equinox EV will be available in fall 2023, and the small SUV will have two options: front-wheel and all-wheel drive. Front-wheel drive Equinox EV has a 210-horsepower electric powerplant which is expected to deliver 250 to 300 miles of range. The Equinox has Chevrolet’s excellent safety and driver assistance features, along with an exciting exterior and many interior amenities.

The all-electric Silverado EV work truck (WT) will be available starting in Spring 2023, but it’s not the same as gas or diesel-engine Silverados. It’s based on the Ultium platform. The Work Truck EV version of Silverado will provide towing and utility services, starting at a price under $40,000, aimed at fleet buyers.

The Silverado EV RST First Edition is a different truck, delivering luxury and performance features. At a starting price of $105,000, the Silverado EV is a luxury truck that is rumored to reach 60 miles per hour in under 4.5 seconds. The Silverado RST is slated to go on sale in fall 2023.
